HOLE 12

The first of three holes making up "birdie alley". A straight forward par 4 with a gradual rise to the green. The hill to the left of the green can be a real assist during summer months but the drop off to the right can pose problems. Playing hints: Long hitters - GO FOR IT! The rest of us mortals should aim for the top of the rise to leave a comfortable iron to the middle of the green. Don't be tempted if the flag is on the right, which would bring the drop-off into play - although this is not impossible to recover from.
